Stone Cleaning Workshop

June 6, 2026: Historic Concordia Cemetery welcomed an enthusiastic group of participants for a hands-on gravestone cleaning workshop led by Laura Fitzgerald. Laura shared proper cleaning techniques for these fragile pieces of history, helping attendees learn how to safely preserve and care for historic monuments. Participants also received a cleaning kit to use on the gravestones of their own family members. The weather cooperated beautifully, making for a perfect day of learning, preservation, and community connection at the cemetery.
